Associate Actuarial Data Scientist

What you'll be doing:

  • Supported by senior team members, seek opportunities to share and celebrate your learnings through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.
  • Be part of a global team of Actuarial Analysts and Data Scientists solving complex business problems by delivering high-quality solutions across the full data science model lifecycle in various insurance domains.
  • Write high-quality code using industry best practices.
  • With support from senior team members, own, scope, and deliver well-defined tasks. Communicate progress regularly in stand-ups or similar agile events.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical teams to maximize value to the customer.
  • Contribute to a culture of high performance by applying industry-leading practices across the model lifecycle, including EDA, model tuning, testing, and deployment.
  • Enhance your insurance, actuarial, and modeling knowledge.
  • Seek opportunities to share and celebrate your learnings through tech talks, blogging, and external events.

Experience and skills we need:

  • Recent degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to model creation through research or industry engagement.
  • Experience with Python programming language.
