Assistant GIS & Data Officer

Full Time – 35 Hours per Week

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 gross per annum depending on skills and experience

Permanent Contract

We are seeking an Assistant GIS & Data Officer to join our cause.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our ambitions for nature’s recovery through providing technical analytical support and expertise to ensure all our decisions are underpinned by sound knowledge and evidence.

The role will support our dynamic Nature-Based Solutions team through the collation, analysis and sharing of data, in order to inform our work across our nature reserves and project work.

This is a desk-based role, suiting someone with a desire to pursue a career in data analysis and geographical information systems. The role will be based within the Nature-Based Solutions team but will work closely with colleagues across the Trust to support the data and GIS needs across our whole repertoire of work.

Moderate experience of carrying out data management and GIS is required, as well as a good understanding of conservation and ecology.

This role will be based at our office in Curdridge, however, we are happy to accommodate a hybrid working routine, and discuss a pattern of work which suits the candidate. Traditionally, office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break.
