Job Description:

AI Engineer – Startup (AI Consultancy) - Glasgow/Edinburgh (Hybrid) Upto £95k + shares


We’re working with a fast-growing AI Consultancy with offices in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. The business is under 2 years old, currently with 55 employees, and engages in various AI projects including fact extraction, conversational AI, Co-pilots, and knowledge graphs across clients in Investments, Insurance, F&B, and CPG sectors.


The founders have successful experience in building and exiting a Data Science consultancy, having previously sold to a ‘big 4’, and aim to replicate this success.


This growth has increased the team size, and we are seeking AI Engineers at different experience levels to develop end-to-end LLM products for clients.


What we’re looking for:

Candidates should have experience building production-ready AI solutions, including designing, building, and deploying AI applications in collaboration with clients. Familiarity with current AI trends and research is essential. Requirements include:



  • Background in foundational NLP
  • Strong Software Engineering skills (3+ years)
  • Experience developing and deploying LLM architectures
  • Up-to-date with AI trends
  • Experience with techniques like RAG architecture, Generative AI, Parallel training, etc.


The role is hybrid, requiring presence at client premises in Glasgow or Edinburgh 1-4 days per week. Flexibility is necessary.
