Role: AI Designer

Duration: 8 months start with go for longer extension

Working hours: 40 Hours per week (8 hours per day)

Time zone: CET


Responsibilities:

  • As an AI Designer, you will design new AI experiences or enhance existing ones, focusing on improving the interaction patterns between users and Generative AI models.
  • Optimize outputs of Generative AI models to meet user expectations for length and information presentation
  • Use behavioral science principles to design mechanisms that nudge user behavior toward better outcomes.
  • Prototype AI experiences and validate them with users to help communicate concepts before they are developed
  • Track performance of Generative AI models using qualitative and quantitative data. Turn insights into opportunities to improve the experience.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Data Scientists to optimize models in an agile development environment.
  • Bridge user needs and AI capabilities by translating user insights into AI design strategies that guide the development of effective, user-cantered AI solutions in close collaboration with Data Science and Product Management.
  • Drive the creation and take ownership of client’s Generative AI design Framework, documenting standards, processes and methods
  • Be an advocate for the Generative AI Design community of practice and communicate the value of Generative AI Design to stakeholders
  • Guide other UX practitioners who wish to learn the craft of Generative AI Design


Requirements:

  • Some experience in designing for Generative AI experiences
  • Some experience with prompt engineering and context engineering
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of conversation, e.g., turn-taking, cognitive load, pragmatics
  • Strong technical aptitude - comfortable learning new software products
  • Solid reading and writing skills in casual and business English.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a changing business environment
  • Knowledge of Agile, Design Thinking, and user-centered design processes.

  • Has hands-on experience working with large language models and designing the interaction for them.
  • Exhibits a keen interest in AI safety and ethics.
  • Is driven to revolutionize and positively impact how people interact with computers.
  • Solid understanding of cognitive factors influencing user behavior.
