Lead Innovative Algorithm Development for Advanced Defence Systems.

This world-leading defence company that produces missile systems is looking for multiple Algorithms/ML Engineers (various levels) to develop sophisticated algorithms for advanced weapons systems.

You will be involved in various activities including many of the following:
• Develop algorithms and ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Integrate algorithms within complex systems.
• Undertake system studies and performance analysis.
• Foster innovation, including the use of agile methods, process improvements, and ML/AI.

This is what we are looking for:
• Experience in software development, mathematical modelling, analysis, and numerical simulation is required (MATLAB, Simulink, and Python preferred).
• Data science, especially ML/AI would be desirable.
• For the lead roles, experience leading both teams and projects is necessary.
• Any of the following would be advantageous: aerodynamics, sensors, servo systems, actuators, autonomous systems, robotics, mechatronics, signal processing, RF systems.

Key Information:
• Algorithms Engineer 
• Locations: Bristol 
• Salary: Circa £45k-£60k plus benefits (bonus, pension, paid overtime, flexi leave etc.)
• Hybrid working: Role/project dependent (typically about 4 days per week on-site)

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
