As the AIOps Engineer, you will support ownership of designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure solutions that utilise artificial intelligence, automation and data-driven insights to enable and support our colleagues. This role bridges the gap between Infrastructure Engineering and modern AI and ML based systems to create intelligent and adaptive infrastructure whilst ensuring alignment with architectural principles, security policies, and service delivery standards within the Enterprise Services team.
Enterprise Services systems include MS Azure, Entra and the Office 365 ecosystem, services that support End User Compute as well as numerous SAAS applications such as Atlassian and Slack.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Own the delivery of technical change across the Enterprise Services estate, including projects involving new or emerging technologies.
• Proactively pinpoint areas where automation and AI can drive significant improvements in team performance and scale operational impact across the business.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying and introducing capabilities that deliver measurable value to the business.
• Integrate and optimise tools for real-time system monitoring, performance tracking and automated remediation.
• Ensure service stability, security and scalability to required service levels.
• Deliver operational support to business customers, exceeding their expectations.
• Proactively improve processes, software and systems, automating wherever possible.
• Ensure that standards/processes are followed and write relevant documentation.
• Ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard and according to agreed timescales.
• Contribute to technology audits and data access requests.
