As Head of Analytics & Data Science for Internal Audit, you play an important role in Aegon's Internal Audit’s transformation by driving the Global strategy for adoption and development across the business unit and functional audit teams.

We are looking for a creative individual, think at a strategic level, and can translate vision/strategy into implementation—both in content and by getting Business unit teams on board. You collaborate effectively, are a discussion partner at various levels in the function, and have a collaborative personality. You are driven by making real impact. 

Additionally, you have:

A university level of working and thinking (specifically a quantitative university education in the data, analytics, and technology domain); At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in the Analytics & Data Science domain in a complex organization; Demonstrable experience in leading teams and coaching and developing professionals; Demonstrable experience in working with senior management level in a large, complex, international organization; Proven experience in project and/or program management; Excellent analytical skills and strong affinity with complex data and analytics issues; Furthermore, you are a strong personality, people-oriented, create movement, inspire in your domain, and can make the connection between stakeholders; and Knowledge of and affinity with the insurance industry (preferred)

External Relationships

It is expected that the role holder will develop an appropriate professional network by liaising with external professional bodies to stay up to date with IA industry knowledge and good operational audit practices.

Compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
