What your typical day looks like:

  • Provideautonomous, advanced clinical care
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
  • Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
  • Initiate specialist referrals where appropriate
  • Maintainhigh-quality clinical recordsin line with best practice
  • Stay up to date withdevelopments in clinical practice
  • Work within professionalregulatory guidelines and scope of practice

To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:

  • Professional Registration- NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
  • Independent Prescriber- Registered as a non-medical prescriber
  • Education- Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including clinical assessment skills
  • Experience- Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
  • Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
