We are hiring a Global Brand Director (12 month FTCmaternity cover - start date June 2025) to lead the strategicdirection, creative development, and effectiveness of Deliveroo’sglobal brand. This role is pivotal in shaping and strengthening ourbrand globally, ensuring that our positioning, campaigns, andmarketing initiatives drive brand equity and business impact acrossour 10 markets. The role reports into the VP of Marketing and sitsin the Marketing team. What you’ll be doing Global Brand Strategy *Define the vision and direction for the Deliveroo brand globally,from embedding our positioning to setting the strategy and approachfor brand platform activation. * Lead a team of brand guardians whoown and protect the brand fundamentals, ensuring consistency in ourvisual identity, tone of voice, and brand assets. * Conductquarterly brand diagnostics with our Research & Insights teamto provide markets with insights and recommendations to strengthenbrand equity and performance locally. Lead on turning insight intoaction. * Review & refine global brand guidelines with theExecutive Creative Director and Creative Studio team to ensureflexibility across channels usability across markets. Global BrandMarketing * Develop global playbooks and toolkits to drive brandrelevance and consistency at scale, equipping local markets withbest-in-class resources to execute campaigns effectively. * Leadglobal marketing workstreams across company initiatives. * Identifyand solve cross-market brand challenges through strategicinitiatives, ensuring Deliveroo’s brand stays distinctive andcompetitive. Global Campaigns * Lead the planning for our globalcampaign programme and Global Production Budget distribution,ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and objectives. *Oversee the end-to-end development of Deliveroo’s 360 globalcampaigns, partnering with our in-house Studio and global creativeagency Pablo London to deliver high-impact work delivered on-timeand within budget. * Secure buy-in from Exec and senior decisionmakers, including Founder & CEO, VP Marketing and in-marketGeneral Managers / Marketing Directors. * Manage the campaignprocess from briefing and creative development to production,localisation, and market rollout. Marketing Effectiveness &Media Measurement * Lead the global marketing effectiveness agenda,establishing frameworks and best practices to improve creativeimpact and marketing efficiency. * Oversee the Marketing MixModelling (MMM) programme across our key markets, analysing theimpact of marketing activity and optimising future plans to alignwith effectiveness ambitions and efficiency targets. * Partner withData Science, country Marketing teams and Research & Insightsteams to assess campaign performance and drive data-informeddecision making. Team Leadership * Manage and develop a team ofseven, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and highperformance. * Provide guidance and consultation to local marketsand cross-functional teams on brand strategy, creative bestpractices and marketing effectiveness. What you will need *Experience in Marketing leadership roles, delivering impactfulglobal or multi-market campaigns. * Proven experience in brandstrategy, creative development and marketing effectiveness. *Expertise in end-to-end TTL campaign production, including TV, OOH,digital, social, and owned-channels (in-app a bonus). * Strongexperience managing creative and localisation agencies andcollaborating with internal creative teams. * Exceptionalstakeholder management skills, with experience influencing seniorleadership and cross-functional teams. * Ability to thrive in afast-paced, matrix environment with a self-starter mindset. *Experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver outstandingresults.
