We’re on the lookout for Qualified Accountants to joinour Management Accounts team based in Bradford. This is hybridworking – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.Working in aconstantly changing, dynamic, fast paced and diverse environment,this role is responsible for Management Accounting across companieswithin the Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.Whatwill you be doing?· Perform accounting processes across theorganisation to agreed group timescales and in line with groupaccounting policy and Internal Control/SOX requirements.· Preparejournal entities and analysis and provide insight into areas offocus.· Month-end balance sheet analysis and reporting.· Balancesheet governance, integrity and assurance.· Improve internalefficiencies and quality of output through process improvement andcollaboration with internal and external teams.· Focus onautomation and digitisation - tactical and strategic use oftechnology to improve existing processes.We tend to look for peoplewith:Essential· Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA,CIMA etc).· Management Accounting and/or audit experience.·Exposure to complex accounting along with experience of workingwithin large corporate structures.· Strong Excel skills.·Experience of research into emerging / complex accounting orreporting issues.· Attention to detail - ability to prepare andreview timetables, plans and performance metrics accurately, andidentify and drive the resolution of errors or issues.· Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.· Experience of working in acomplex environment, delivering to deadlines.Desirable· Knowledgeof US GAAP and IFRS· Financial systems skills beneficial(e.g.Oracle, SAP, Hyperion/HFM)What’s in it for you?· Competitivesalary· 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more·Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calmapp, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance·Matched pension contribution up to 10%· Access to our car benefitscheme· Access to our online learning platform to continue todevelop and grow your career with us· The chance to join aninnovative, fast-paced and passionate team· Hybrid working; 2 daysin the office and 3 remote.Who are we, Liberty Shared Services:Liberty Shared Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the LibertyGlobal Group exists to provide technology and operational basedsolutions for transactional activity across LG and their Federationpartners.
