Joinus at the heart of trust.As the Senior Strategy Manager, Pricing& Monetization, you will hold a key role in designing andbuilding Trustpilot’s monetization strategy. You will optimize andevolve our packaging offering, to ensure that our lineup ofproducts offers the right value to our customers, in alignment withour proposition for our different customer segments. This willinvolve exploratory work to identify opportunities, market &competitor analysis, business case preparation, and solutiondefinition. As we build new product features, you will workclosely with our Product and Product Marketing teams to decide whatto prioritize and how to best bundle new products in our plans, tooptimize upgrade rates and revenue generation from new innovations.You will also work closely with our Growth Product team on how bestto design our product experience to sell our plans online, toincrease our free-to-paid conversion rate, in-app upgrade rate, andaverage order value, to maximize revenue from this saleschannel. Additionally, an essential aspect of the positioninvolves researching various monetization strategies thatTrustpilot can adopt to build new revenue streams. These willlikely be net new areas of exploration for the company, and youwill have end-to-end ownership of the project lifecycle: from theinitial discovery phase to presenting a case for change, todeveloping the go-to-market strategy, and tracking and measuringresults after launch.A strategic mindset and curious attitude willbe fundamental to being successful in this role, as you will oftenneed to deep dive into different topics and collect differentperspectives to scope out potential opportunities, problem-solvingwith stakeholders like Product, Data Science, Marketing, ProductMarketing, Legal, and Finance. Whilst focusing on long-termstrategy development will be critical, the successful candidatewill also have a ‘get it done’ attitude with a willingness to goabove and beyond to deliver results, keeping the differentstakeholders accountable. This role reports to the Director ofPricing & Monetization. What you’ll be doing: Developand optimize our core B2B proposition, to ensure our lineup ofplans delivers on our customer needs and is highly competitive inthe market. Use a combination of your commercial judgment,analytical skills, competitor research, and feedback from ourcustomers and Commercial team to ideate new pricing &monetization models for Trustpilot, to increase ourNRR. Support the Growth Product team in optimizing our onlinesales channel to maximize revenue. Collaborate with Productand Product Marketing to define which new features to develop, andtake the lead on deciding how to best package them (e.g. bundling,add-on, tiering, etc.)Support the Director of Pricing &Monetization in exploring net new ancillary revenue opportunities,from initial hypothesis to business cases and concept development,to end-to-end project delivery.Constantly monitor market trends andkey industry events, as well as established SaaS players andinfluencers, to bring an ‘outside-in’ perspective to the businessand inform internal efforts. Constantly collaborate with yourPricing & Monetisation colleagues to make sure our plans arepriced competitively and in accordance with the value we provide tocustomers. Who you are: Experience in highlymatrixed companies, ideally in pricing, monetization, or strategy& operations roles, with proven ability to deliver autonomouslyin fast-paced environments.Proven track record of deliveringstrategies with commercial impact, high visibility within thecompany, clear ownership and accountability, and proven impact onthe business financials.Comprehensive stakeholder management skillsincluding the ability to influence senior leaders in yourday-to-day interactions.Familiarity with different pricing andsubscription models across SaaS and B2B markets, with a deepunderstanding of how SaaS metrics work and are correlated (NRR,churn, rule of 40, etc.)Strong analytical skills and commercialacumen: comfortable creating compelling business cases.
