As the Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how data-driven insights inform key commercial decisions across a dynamic and evolving business.


You will have full ownership over independent model ideation/creation, with the immediate focus being to help deliver pricing models (no prior experience needed), utilising guest data, and then will introduce the latest AI features/tools as well as other greenfield models/projects. You'll need experience creating a variety of models.


The position offers flexibility, with the team typically meeting in London twice a month. Applicants across the UK are welcome, provided they can travel to London for these collaborative sessions.


The Role

  • As the Senior Data Scientist, you will apply advanced data science techniques to enhance pricing strategies and forecasting accuracy. You will take ownership of developing, implementing and refining variable pricing models and forecasting tools, working closely with revenue management and other commercial teams.
  • This is a hands-on, creative role requiring both technical depth and commercial insight. You should be comfortable designing and building models independently, while also collaborating with a range of stakeholders to translate analytical findings into practical business solutions.

  • Design, develop, and refine data science models focused on pricing optimisation and demand forecasting.
  • Use statistical and machine learning techniques to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Create and maintain data assets that can be understood and applied across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to embed data-driven methods into core processes.
  • Continually explore creative ways to use diverse data sources to improve model performance and business impact.


Senior Data Scientist Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience creating a variety of models, independently e.g. without support/approval.
  • Proficiency in Python and core data science libraries.
  • Experience working with large and varied datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A creative, inquisitive mindset and the ability to innovate through data.
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
