Lead IoT ML Engineer - AI / Machine Learning / Principal Data Scientist Lead IoT ML Engineer urgently needed to join a well-backed and growing startup in London. As well as a competitive salary of up to circa £110k per year, you will also get: Serious equity benefits packag e Digital nomad benefit – take 6 weeks working from anywhere in the world 28 days holiday bank holiday The chance to ‘make your mark’ on an industry - lead ing product Support from a diverse team of both tech and industry experts / enthusiasts Stay hands-on whilst working with AI and ML on the very edge Your responsibilities will include: Product design and development via ML and software engineering, Define the requirements with the Product Manager , Building on and improving the current product – future-proofing , maintaining and evolving it , Be customer-facing – the product is highly technical so the sales team rely on you for technical backing , Leading a small team of analysts/engineers (75% hands-on, 25% leadershi p & client facing) . To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven ML Product development experience in a startup environment . Process knowledge especially process design expertise . Startup roadmap design and implementation . AI/ML modelling expert, from forecasting/prediction modelling to training and retraining the models based on data drift etc ., Have Python expertise , Good Docker and Kubernetes knowledge , A willingness to learn C# and Rust if you do not already have knowledge there , Have experience leading a small team , Worked with IoT products , Deploying and hosting apps on AWS ideally, Azure fine too , Experience building collaboration with other technical teams .
