I’m working with a global professional services firm to hire for an AI Data Scientist in Glasgow (hybrid). Their combining world-class expertise with cutting-edge technology, data science, and automation to create smarter, faster, and more efficient solutions both in-house and for their international clients.

This is a brand-new role for an AI Data Scientist who’s ready to make a genuine impact. You’ll be the first hire in a growing AI function, giving you the freedom to shape the technical direction and build powerful AI capabilities from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll design and deploy next-gen AI solutions using Microsoft Azure, M365, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. You’ll fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for legal-specific applications, uncover insights from complex data, and turn these into intelligent, data-driven decisions that power real business outcomes.

Collaboration will be key as you’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to bring innovative AI ideas to life.

  • Strong experience with RAG architectures or similar retrieval-based AI systems
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Azure (Databricks), Python, and SQL
  • A passion for building intelligent systems that drive tangible results
